13a. Tower Bells
On the right and left of the centre bell tower windows (St Cecilia, the Levite & Angels) are two identical windows with ringing bells motif. Bells and bell towers hold deep religious significance as calls to prayer and symbols of divine presence. Their ringing gather the faithful, mark sacred times, and proclaim God’s glory. Bells historically had “baptismal” names and were blessed and anointed, while their sound guides daily rhythms and prepares people for worship.
